A Wati alternative, compared honestly. Wapflow vs Wati, with sources.
Wati is a mature platform with 16,000+ customers. Wapflow is in early access. Here is where the two differ, from their live pricing page as of July 10, 2026.
The short version. Three structural differences.
- Seats. Wati includes 3 to 5 users and charges $24 to $69 per extra user per month. Every Wapflow plan has unlimited teammates.
- Message fees. Wati bills messages from its own rate card; Wapflow passes Meta’s rate card through at cost. For India marketing messages that is $0.01888 versus $0.0118 per message today.
- Where AI starts. Wati’s AI agents unlock at $149 a month. Wapflow includes AI agents on every plan and meters usage instead of gating the feature.

Where Wati fits you better. Credit where it is due.
- You need more channels than WhatsApp: Wati deploys agents to web and voice, and has a deep integration directory including Salesforce and HubSpot.
- You need a vendor with years in production and a large support organization behind it.
- You need software today. Wapflow is early access; Wati is shipping now.
If those do not apply, and you mostly want WhatsApp answered well by a small team without per-seat math, that is exactly what Wapflow is being built for.
Switching from Wati. What actually moves.
Your WhatsApp number belongs to your Meta Business account, not to Wati, and moving it between platforms is a Meta process. Wapflow runs on the official WhatsApp Business Cloud API, so the number stays yours after the move. Contacts import from a CSV, with tags applied on import, and every plan has unlimited teammates, so nobody sits out of the inbox to save a seat fee. Meta’s per-message fees pass through at cost, with zero markup. One honest caveat: Wapflow is in early access, so the first step is the waitlist, and access rolls out in order.

Wapflow vs Wati, asked directly.
Is this comparison current?
The Wati numbers were read from wati.io/pricing and its linked rate-card PDFs (marked updated July 1, 2026) on July 10, 2026. Prices change; always check their page for the latest before deciding. The Wapflow column is different in kind: the quotas are real, but final prices are announced at launch, so treat them as early-access targets rather than a published rate card.
Why are messages cheaper on Wapflow?
Wapflow does not have its own rate card. Meta charges its published per-message rate and that exact amount passes through to you. The plan you pay for covers the platform, not resold messages. For an India marketing message, that is $0.0118 through Wapflow versus $0.01888 on Wati’s Growth and Pro rate card today, a gap that compounds across every broadcast you send.
Is my WhatsApp number locked to one provider?
No. Your number belongs to your Meta Business account, and moving it between platforms is a Meta process. Choosing either product is not a life sentence. Both products run on the official WhatsApp Business API, so the number stays portable in both directions, with no phone tethering and no unofficial wrapper that risks a ban.
Can I use Wapflow today?
Wapflow is in early access, rolling out to the waitlist in order. Joining the waitlist holds your spot and locks in early-access pricing. The quotas in the table above are real; final prices are announced at launch, and you get an email when early access opens for your spot. Until then, Wati is shipping software today, and this page says so plainly.
Be first in line.
